The pen and ink drawing, done in a fairly rough sketchy style, of two cats, embracing under a bunch of mistletoe, takes up the top half of the front. The cats are standing like humans, one wearing a pink suit, the other a blue dress tied with a bow at the back. A clock behind shows the time as midnight. Underneath is a manuscript poem, with another on the reverse. The fold line through the centre interrupts the image.
