Group dining outside

Small black and white informal photograph of a group of people dining at a table under a tree, with a meadow, houses and trees beyond. Three men are visible, with other figures partially visible. They are sitting around a dining table, laid formally with white tablecloth, several bottles of wine and glasses. The photograph has faded to a brownish tone, and is pasted directly onto a page in the notebook. The page opposite has a manuscript caption: 'A Knox out blow.'

Poor condition. Faded and yellowed, spots of black ink (from opposite page) centre, a straight line marking top left quarter, possibly from damp, and further damp markings left centre. Production method: gelatin silver print.
