Scope and Content

Manuscript letter written on Federation of Women's Suffrage Societies, South Wales and Monmouth notepaper. Feels on the whole life is worth living. Pleased Edith liked Mrs Corbett.

Writes about ghosts 'it seems to me that the dead must have something better to do than float about in old rooms and frighten people.' Her resignation from the National Union [of Women's Suffrage Societies] has been accepted. Might 'go chauffe[u]ring for Mr Corbett'. Could marry 'but so far I've no wish to lose any freedom although he is a Scot and a Suffragist'.
