Scope and Content

Photocopy of a letter. Written from [Wooler, Northumberland].

She tells them again about Mr Allen's break down [See letter of 2 Dec 1905] which necessitated his being taken away to a health cure establishment at Crieff for a prolonged stay. The worst part was when he returned to his work at Glasgow, where he had been received with great favour, he found himself treated with 'hostility and coldness, defiance and slander'. She is glad Mr Allan has again begun to correspond with her and hopes that he who has for some years been such a help and hope inspirer to her may now receive some help from her.

Announces that she is moving on 31 Mar; she is not at all afraid of the move as it is so short a distance. She is so much interested in what her friend says about 'the prayers for healing'. Her family and friends are very sceptical about her going to die, though the doctor gives her so 'little chance'.
