Written from Trinity Lodge, Cambridge. Saturday [20 Nov 1897]. Date: This letter follows on from the one written on 11 Nov to the Miss Priestmans.

She will be happy to spend the next weekend with them and meet some of their friends on the Saturday. 'It will be so restful after London and Cambridge. They are very kind there, but there are too many Bishops and Archbishops about' Says she returns that day to her room at 25 Oxford Square, Hyde Park.

The programme of the period from 10 Nov when she and JB arrive from the Continent and stay at 25 Oxford Sq, Hyde Park, London to the end of the month is as follows:

10 Nov (Wed) to c.16 Nov (Tues) in London busy with Committees and seeing old friends.

Tues 16 Nov went to Cambridge to stay with her relations Montagu Butler, Master of Trinity, her brother in law).

16-20 Nov Staying at Trinity Lodge.

Sat [20 Nov] writes to her friends the Miss Priestmans to say she is returning that day to 25 Oxford Sq and will come to them for the next week end.

Leaving on the Monday 29 Nov for Ewart.

The date of JB's arrival at her friends at Clifton is given by the date of the meeting of the Executive Committee at Bristol on 25 Nov (Thurs) at which Mrs Butler was present in the Chair. She must therefore have travelled down the day before 24 Nov, by the mid day train (see her letter of Sat 20 Nov).
