Written from Liverpool. Undated but shortly before the Sheffield Meeting on 16 Nov. Still very unwell and will only be able to speak a few words; she is heartbroken about it after all their noble efforts and preparations. She will come on the Monday morning and George will come on Tuesday.

This was from the cold and fever contracted at Chatham on 18 Oct. Despite alarming account of her symptoms in the letter she rallied for the occasion (the meeting for ladies on the afternoon of 15 Nov) and addressed 2 meetings (one an overflow). In a letter from Josephine Butler to Mrs Wilson dated 'about 1 Nov 1875' she asks Mrs Wilson whether she could arrange for her to see the child when she comes to Sheffield.
