Cancellation of Pere Hyacinth's visit is a great disappointment for their Sheffield meeting; hopes the visit is only deferred. Does not think she can undertake to write a paper for the Conference; she is suffering from a return of the illness she had in Jun 1875; she will try to say a few words at each meeting.

At the inaugural meeting of the British & Continental Federation at Liverpool on 19 Mar 1875, Mrs Butler was appointed Hon. Sec. with Henry Wilson Co. Sec., pro. tem.
