Scope and Content

Written from Durdham Park, Bristol. Answering her question about Mr Knox, a minister with a chapel in a very poor part of Bristol, as to whether he was thoroughly acquainted with the subject, the answer was yes. The second question as to whether he is 'earnest, active and energetic and would not be afraid of working hard' they cannot answer so well as he has not worked much for them in Bristol; Mr Fothergill would probably be able to answer this better as he has worked with him at Tiverton and elsewhere.

Administrative / Biographical History
