Correspondence and other papers relating to the Vic Wells Ballet and the Ballet School.

The correspondence relates to a wide variety of matters including enquiries from the public, applications to join the company or school, practical issues such as clothing, offers of music by composers and ballets by writers, letters from dancers. Other items including receipts, list of ballet company members with their clothing sizes. Correspondents include Manlio Di Veroli (composer), F.W. De Massi-Hardman, Geoffrey Keynes, Bernard Miles, John MacNair, Elise Lindsley-Sims, Katharine Schoeder, Helen Sealy, Lilian Baylis, Irene Segalla, Janie Sargon and various others.

Also includes a card from Lilian Baylis to Ninette de Valois saying 'a tiny offering in the Birth of Ballet at the Vic & in appreciation of her(?) charming dancing'.
