Consists of two personal letters from Aaron Buzacott, the first dated 1 Oct 1839 from Rarotonga and the second dated 19 Dec 1842 from on board the Camden, addressed to Rev R Fletcher in Southend, Essex. The first letter refers to the Rarotonga mission and the arrival of [William Wyatt] Gill and [Henry] Royle. The second gives an account of a 9 month voyage to other islands and mission stations, including Aitutaki, Samoa and Tahiti, and comments particularly on the inhabitants of Tanna.
