Frank Burden was a missionary with the China Inland Mission, who served in Tuhshan, Guizhou, China. He was born in Australia in c 1869. Burden, a Baptist, worked as a warehouseman and shop assistant in Adelaide, Australia before beginning service in China in December 1890. He married the missionary Joanne Turner Webster in Chongqing, Sichuan Province. He retired in 1902. Following his return to Adelaide, Burden undertook a career in medicine.
